Start a Team

Students now have THREE ways to join an Arkansas Destination Imagination team.

  1. Join a team through your school. School coordinators, please purchase your teams and Team Manager Background checks through the DI website.
  2. Start a team independently.
  3. New for this year! Sign-up as an independent student and ARDI will place you on a virtual team (if we have enough students and volunteers).

1. To Join a Team through your school

Contact your school coordinator and fill out the required sign-up sheet.  If you don’t know if your school has DI OR if you don’t know who your school coordinator is, please contact and we’ll get you connected. Team Managers will contact students and register the team with Arkansas Destination Imagination.

2. To Start a Team Independently

The Start a Team page will guide you through the team purchasing process. You may also call our customer service representatives at 1-888-321-1503 or email them at.

Once you have started a team and have your team number, don’t forget to register with Arkansas Destination Imagination. Registering with ARDI is required to compete in the state tournament.

ARDI will once again be using RegisterYourTeam.org this year to submit tournament registrations.  DIHQ is working hard to integrate the the systems so that we won’t have to enter as much information between the two systems.  Please be patient as we continue to make improvements!

3. Sign-up as an independent student

Fill out the following sign-up form and ARDI will place you on a virtual team if we have enough students and volunteers. Parents will be required to attend at least 1 information session to learn more about the program and volunteer opportunities.

We’ll be placing 5-7 students on each virtual team. We will attempt to place students on teams that live geographically close, in case they desire to meet in person and COVID guidelines permit it.

There is no fee for the initial sign-up.  Fees will not be assessed until students are placed on a team with a certified volunteer team manager.

Cost: $40 per student, this includes materials, affiliate fees and background check for 1 Team Manager.
